Students attending 马塞诸斯州大学波士顿 from another country are invited to participate in an a two-part orientation program. 

  • Part One: New Student 取向 will take place virtually focusing on campus resources and academics. 
    • All 大学肄业生uate students will select their classes for the first semester.  
  • Part Two: International Welcome will take place on-campus and will highlight important information about immigration and adjusting to life in Boston.

International Student 取向 Learning Outcomes

As a result of attending international welcome, students will…

  • understand the policies surrounding US immigration law and VISA compliance
  • recognize the services on campus to help with transition to the city of Boston
  • begin to establish community connections with other international students

Steps to Register for 取向

Follow these steps below to select your orientation date:

1. Pay Your Deposit

2. Register for a Session

  • Once your deposit has processed, return to the Beacon Gateway and click on the 'events' tab.
  • Under the 'events' section you will see New Student 取向.
  • Click 'Find a Session' under New Student 取向 to select a date that works best for you.
  • Complete the questionnaire and be sure to click SUBMIT to confirm your registration.

3. Check Your Email

  • Once you register, a confirmation email will be sent to your application email and your new 马塞诸斯州大学波士顿 email address.
  • Reminder emails with additional details will be sent prior to your orientation session. Please check your email regularly and review this important information.
